FIRST SIGHT Group congratulates Minister Lawrence Wong on being selected as the leader of Singapore’s 4G leaders. We are proud that the Tanjong Katong Secondary School Heritage Lab we designed and built as the first pilot secondary school project for the new heritage corners programme, launched on 11 Oct 2014 by then Minister for Culture, Community and Youth & Second Minister for Ministry of Communications and Information Mr Lawrence Wong. The corner was conceptualised as a heritage “laboratory” where lessons can be conducted, enabling the corner to be an extension of the classroom. During the opening speech, Minister Lawrence Wong spoke about his teachers and days spent in school and re-traced his footsteps as a schoolboy in a trip down memory lane as part of a charity walk organised by his alma mater, Tanjong Katong Secondary School (TKSS). We are heartened to know that we have a leader with a cool head, showed humanity and understand for the people on the ground. We wish him all the best in his new assignment to lead Singapore into the future!
